| Teachers, bring your students to Dussel Farm for a first-hand look at our farm's role in food production and soil conservation. For twenty years we have been hosting field trips from mid-September through October, and strive for enjoyment as well as education. Our walking field tours include an educational session about soybeans, a walk and talk through a corn field, and the highlight of the trip is the pumpkin field tour. The children receive a coloring book, crayons, soy nuts. They pick an ear of corn for the wild backyard animals, and... of course... a small pumpkin to carry home!!! PRESCHOOL AND EARLY ELEMENTARY GRADES WEEKDAYS 9:00 AM TO 3:00 PM ALLOW 1-2 HOURS FOR THE FIELD TRIP BRING A BROWN BAG AND BLANKET LUNCH!
